You hear so much about opening your hips in yoga - but why?
To put it very simply, tight hips affect our range of motion. This can mean even simple tasks become more difficult. We are going to work on improving the range of motion in the hips which over time can improve circulation and problems such as back pain.
Yoga tradition holds the hips as a storage ground for negative felling and pent up emotions especially ones related to control in our lives. Come along and create space for the birth of new ideas and new pathway. Opening the hips gives us access to freedom in the body and in our own unique expression - creatively, physically, sexually and spirtually.
