We are all likely to experience pain and/or injury at some point through the course of our lives. Often, this experience can be frustrating and deflating whilst what feels like the most intuitive strategy for managing that pain can be limiting and even risk compounding, or aggravating the original issue.
Through this immersive weekend we will explore in depth the neurophysiological mechanisms that underpin the experience of pain. We will learn the different forms in which pain and injury occur on a spectrum from acute to chronic, and further, what form of practice will be most appropriate and beneficial to engage with, whether the goal is faster healing, or maintenance of a long standing symptom.
